Lighting Twist

I’ts cold out side and I got bored and took a pic of a nik-nak.

The figurine was sitting on my pool table. I was approx 9? from the subject and the only processing was a very small drop in exposure, slight crop and the framing. The room was semi-dark and the walls are off white.
I used a small led light with a built on swivel clip that is designed to clip on to the rim of a ball cap that I use when night fishing and clipped it on to my lens hood. I wonder if that has ever been done before. It makes for very inexpensive macro/close up lighting. Cool idea I think.
