I have one and am sitting on the fence re. selling it, it’s in near mint condition in the box with everything that came with it but don’t think I’d part with it for less than ?500, it’s like selling your Far Side collection :)

If the OP doesn’t take up the offer, I could be very interested in this. Can you post some pics of it?

Yeah, should be able to post some pics of it. It’s in as-new condition optically and body wise, the only signs of wear is some barely noticeable gold showing on the black metal around one corner of the focus window. Otherwise it’s tip-top.

Here’s some fishy pics with the 10.5 inisde Newgrange:

Great pics from inside the passage tomb.

How did you get permission to take photos, were you there in an official capacity?

Cian – thanks for the reply but I think your price would a bit too much for me if you did decide to sell it.

I believe I could get a new one from from HK for less.

Thanks Damian, it’s not easy to get access for photographs inside. You have to have public liability insurance and then write to the OPW with a good reason. I’m working on a book project and know the Br? na Boinne staff quite well so I wrangled my way in eventually!

    CrowdedHouse,

No worries, hope you find one going cheap!

    DarrenG,

I’ll contact you early next week about the lens, going on a trip this weekend.
