I waited & waited for this shot. I got a few but this was what I originally saw and caught it nicely.

I was wondering why lousy and myself were half a mile up the beach and you were nowhere to be seen…
This is an excellent shot. The ‘splash’ is crystal clear and the depth of field is perfect. The mild orange in the background just gives a nice warm finish to the shot.
Patience is a virtue.

the texture in the foreground rock is so good you almost don’t
need, or even notice, the splash… Or is it just me?Rob.
Amazing, never saw anything like it!!
Of course what you really used was a sheet of tinfoil, bit of blutack and a handful of lead shot! :D

Thanks for the comments. I may post a couple of the others from this same rock later. Sure beats sitting by the sink with a basin of water and a remote release in your hand!
