Now Aldi do online printing… very very cheap to…!

A friend tested them out. Will do the same myself in a few days. They are printing on Fuji machines and Fuji paper. Excellent quality too..!

    Definitely worth a look…!

Received first order today, introductary offer first 20 prints free.

    Easy to us

    Swift turnaround, ordered 21/01/2008 20:52

Very good repoduction of prints, vibrant colour and sharp

Paper is of a lighter weight than what I am used to but at this price it is more than acceptable, still Fuji paper

    That’s pretty good value – A4 for 55c!

Do they apply sharpening? I was using foto.com, but at least for smaller prints they were applying some nasty aggressive sharpening

Doesn’t look like it although I am no expert.

To me it looks like they printed exactly what I sent them.

I made small adjustments to color balance and some crops and that is what came back.

Unfortunately there is no info on back of prints to indicate any changes. On a minilab with film printing you will often see
N N N on the back, ie normal normal normal, or no changes. Each N for C M Y , cyan magenta yellow.

I remember that Konica minilabs would show +/- to show changes in density as well.

Although, sometimes changes would simply occur due to lazy technicians adjusting settings to avoid refreshing chemical or just avoiding good maintanence. I KNOW ONE OF THESE…….

Anyhows I will be using them again, next time might order some larger sizes to see how they come out.
