New D80

  I just bought new D80 with AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G IF-ED and Hoya uv filter from Calumet in Belfast .
  They are listed on Nikon website . It was 693 sterling including delivery to Clare . It only worked out 950 euro cause of very good exchange rate . I ordered it on Thurs aftrernoon and dhl delivered friday morning . I saved 200 euro on cheapest i could get here . Ebay is ok for lens etc. but for piece of mind and a helpful staff i would highly recommand Calumet .

  nice i got mine for 1200 with the 18-135 lens

  Cheers for that Mike. Calumet have a good reputation and it’s nice to know they deliver to the Republic.

  I ordered a d80 with 70-300mm lens, spare battery, mini tripod and uv filter for e789 off ebay this week. I took the insurance postage which brought it to about e800. Still pretty cheap, I reckon! Ya can’t beat ebay!

  Thanks Steve . Im in Clarecastle . Im a total newbie so hope to out soon now and try the d80 out . I seen your recent pic’s from mountshannon on flickr they are amazing .

  Hello All,

  Have the D80 myself, got it when I was in Singapore managed to bargen down to 1600 Singapore Dollers for the 18-135 kit with bag and tripod.

  Got it mainly for all of the car shows I am involved in every year.
