Epson 1400

Anyone using the 1400 Epson I’m currently using the Epson R300 and would like to move up to a larger A3 size, its for my own personal use so I’m looking for something giving good quality prints mainly colour [some b/w] that won’t break the bank and be trouble free and not too expensive to run, tall order I know. I’ve read some good and some not so good reports on the 1400 so would welcome any opinions from current users.
A friend of mine bought one before Christmas and thinks its great. He is really impressed with the colours.
Thanks Gerry thats good to hear it can be difficult at times figuring out the genuine user reviews from the hype and bs** one tends to get on some forums.

Very good printer on colour. Inks are good also. However, black and white requires care. Similar results to your current R300.
