Nikon f2.8 lens..

Im looking to get a new lens or two, in the 18-200 range, I know the Nikon 18-200 is expensive so Im open to getting a 18-70 or 80 and an 80-200 as long as both are f2.8 right through the focal range.
Anyone have any good suggestions for lens’ in this range?

70-200 vr 2.8 …………….1500 euro
17-55 2.8 ………………. 1100 euro
These are new prices,but are top lenses and worth every penny.
You could try ebay of course for good deals etc,

I think I’ve seen an 80-200 on buyandsell around 800… if it’s in good condition, that’s a reasonable price. You can pick up the 28-70 or 17-35 for a grand…. the 2.8 Nikkor lenses are not cheap. There is a Sigma alternative for the 28-70, if you search in previous posts, you will find that a lot of people like it.
