Best from a very bad bunch this afternoon.
I thought this fella looked like he was looking out over the cove to the town.

Nice simple composition and I like the square crop. Reminds me of some of Adam Clutterbuck’s stuff: Click here and go to his black and white galleries: http://www.adamclutterbuck.com/

Love the tones and the mood. Only things i don’t like is the bollard, its to central for me, i would have stepped to the right to put it off to the left. Its a pity cause the shot has a lovely feel to it. Others might disagree with me so i could be wrong

Love the simple composition, love the B&W. It’s moody, atmospheric and wonderful.

Well done – bit jealous really!! :-)

By the way, is this in Belfast? If so whereabouts?

Yeah, I’ve been watching Adam Clutterbucks English coastal stuff for months now. He does good stuff.
For me Josef Hoflehner and Xavier Rey are the best about.

This is in Ballywalter down the Ards Peninsula. I’ve visited this spot 3 or four times now.

I would of healed out the metal rail, does nothing for the shot at all imo

You’re right. I just looked at it and imagined it without the rail and it would have opened the whole frame up and added to the “lonliness” of the concrete post.
