A really heavy mist over Dublin’s O’Connell Bridge as the sun tries to break through.

Another one from the same session

This is a really nice photo~~

    Beautiful perspective and tones.

You managed to keep a lot of detail through the haze while eliminating the less attractive points. (signs etc)

I just am not sure though..about the bottom darkness…I keep trying to imagine how it would look if I could just make out a bit of the water. Maybe it’s not necessary. It might be better this way…

Anyway..I am really drawn to it.

I’m shocked Eddie, you used a Digital Camera:-)

Two nice pics, first being my favorite of the two. They came out very well, they do have a film feel to them. Pity the bottom of the first is a bit dark but a nice pic all the same

Two very nice shots. Its a very interesting type of weather to be shooting in. The yellows of the buses are a tiny bit distracting in the first one, I find. Maybe a BW conversion might make the picture more balanced overall.

Very nice set though. One being my favourite.

A little compact I carry around, useful for landscapes but useless for portraits because of shutter lag.

    These are both nice-
though I think I prefer the colour in the first-

I’d be looking at cropping some width in both though-
taking out the lanterns to the left in the first,
and those stray branches in the second-
I think that’s simplify the composition-

Good to see some pix from you up here again-

I like the people in the second shot… they look like they are panicing and trying to escape the killer mist! Was this taken a couple of weeks ago? I think I remember that morning when the fog was quite heavy… wished I had my camera with me.

The 2nd image here has a 1950’s look to it.

    Very classic – I like it !

Lovely pictures but I was expecting pictures of the actual Foggy Dew Pub in Temple Bar.

I am seeing major banding in these, in sky, buildings, water . No-one else has mentioned any such thing, so it must be this monitor, yes?

I missed these first time around. The second shot has a timeless look about it.
Lovely as always from you Eddie.

Pixelle, I’d say its the monitor as it looks nice and smooth here for me.
