Photo Black and Matt Black

Can anyone advise me the difference. I bought an Epson R2400 printer at Focus on Imaging and im not sure what cartridge to install.
Can anyone avide me which one is suited best to what printing?Cheers
BenIt depends what paper do you want to print on… matte black for matte papers…photo black for glossy papers – that’s roughly the rule.
Thats what i was thinking, im using the harman paper, so i found instructions on what to use n there.
