Its hardto see the real action in this shot. It looks like you’ve focussed more on the rim of the glass and the shallow DOF means that the splashes are out of focus to a degree. Maybe a larger water area to focus on. Use a bowel or basin instead o a glass would have meant you could focus better on the action area.
Just a thought. Nice dark background though. Definitely helps to focus on the subject.
