Pat Hee hee. The camera must be good. You were lucky with the light. It’s a tribute to your fancy tripod! Nothing to do with getting a damn good photo from a great position at just the right time. Great shot. Well done. kensutzParticipant March 4, 2008 at 1:17 pm Beauty of a shot, really like it RGH_PhotographyMember March 4, 2008 at 4:25 pm Really nice shot mate, pin sharp and no blowen out bits which can be easy done with this typr of shot. ;) latchikoParticipant March 4, 2008 at 5:54 pm Beautiful shot. Great job of keeping the HDR looking very natural too. nfl-fanParticipant March 4, 2008 at 7:27 pm Alright Steve… can I ask is this HDR with Tone Mapping or simply Exposure Blending? StevenHannaMember March 5, 2008 at 9:02 am Thanks everyone. nfl-fan, this was tone-mapped using Photomatix, with 3 exposures taken at -2, 0, +2. The percentage or strength of the tone-mapping was only set at around 20-30%, which I found helped keep the image looking realistic.
