It’s the things under your nose…

Here’s a snaills final resting place, a snail graveyard, if you will. I accidentally noticed that if you look at something from below up into a sky with the Sigma 10-20 it does wonderful things to the sky as far as cloud formation goes and colour saturation. So, I looked for a nice rock formation where I was at the time and found these. Unfortunately the snail shells weren’t as in focus as I thought at first. I’ll try again…

No snails were harmed in the making of this image.

    Something different, d’ya think?

    I was expecting a picture of a moustache…

Nice composition Alan, maybe a little heavily saturated for me…

Hi Alan, definey different, using your imagination, something I’d be short on. Most things I find under my nose I get rid of with the hankie.

I was expecting a moustache too!

I love this photo… I feel like I’m in a hole looking out at the sky.

LOVE IT one of the coolest shots in “everything else” in a while imo :) very imaginitive.

    Yeppers…really like it too.

I suppose experimentation is how most of us will come up with the really interesting shots Alan…

    Keep at it :D

I don’t find it oversaturated, it looks just fine on my monitor. I love the idea and the colours. It’s a bit hard to see the snails in the picture – if it was me I moved a bit closer and higher to get rid of that rock in the immediate foreground and to show a bit more grass.. I would love to see a bit of a grass, we would get a better understanding about the image I think – end of the subjective comments. Great photo, print it now! :)
