A recent shoot I did for driver.ie, be rude not to share. Apologies about the terrible compression on the images from Flickr.
The car is a 700bhp Toyota Chaser, powered by a 1.5JZ (A hybrid of a 1JZ & 2JZ) more commonly found in a Supra. The car is a former D1GP car, D1 being the premier drifting organisation in the world, based in Japan. The car was imported to Ireland and shall be competing in the Prodrift Ireland and Prodrift European Series.
This is a great set. What a beast of a car. A hard one to tame I’m sure.
You’ve a nice balance of details, and environmental here. The garage suits the uncompromising look of the car.
I love the shot of the interior – the contrasty lighting is super.
Your passion and knowledge for the cars and sport really shine through in this set. And photography is clearly a means to communicate that. A refreshing change where the photos are more about the subject than the photography – and I’m as guilty of that as anyone. Excellent set – I enjoyed looking through the rest of the photos and the article on driver.ie.
I really like the environmental shot from up above.. it’s a pity the umbrella is in the frame. My other favourite would be the car interior lit from outside. A nice series again, thanks for sharing.
