Dublin shoreline at night

    This was taken a couple of months back from Dollymount. Toning added in post processing. C&C most welcome.

    I like the toning, though the entire image is rather wide.
    How many exposures stitched together? I might be more
    fond of this if the horizon was put right on the centre line,
    preferably by adding water and not losing any of the sky.
    The detail looks a little soft too. A tiny bit of sharpening
    would help. Just my thoughts…

    This is a really nice shot. I love the silhouette effect that you have going on here and the lights just add that bit of excitement and life.

    Cheers. This was taken in one shot using 10mm wide angle lens. It was also shot at night so softening may be due to long shutter (30 secs if I remember correctly).

    This is a nice one Wayne. Nice tones and nice post processing on it. Would agree with Rob about straightening up the horizon and about it being a tad bit soft but still a nice one.

    Petercox has a tutorial on straighting a horizon, have a look at this link http://www.petercox.ie/tutorials/straighten_crop.php , its the method i use and works really well
