These are superb Gerry, crystal clear and sharp throughout.
The reflections in the third are simply ridiculous. There is some
slight banding in the orange background of the second but aside
from that they’re marvellous…

Rob they were taken with a 100mm canon macro lens at f/2.8 and 1/250 at ISO 100
you’re right about the orange one – wasn’t as sharp as the rest and so had to sharpen resulting the banding (although i didnt know it was called that -thanks)
the set up lwas just a white plate under the tap – a few oranges thrown in to make the background colour – it looked liked this – although camera was a bit closer:
