    Sean1098: As discussed yesterday I think this might be what you were looking for? I pushed this one to hell and back. Let me know.

    I love his shot i know its been given a real kickin with photoshop but its a good look :) maybe the foreground needs to be a tad darker to balance it up with the clouds ?

    Great location too might have to head to the local quary soon myself ;)

    Spotted these up at the Moto-X… they had probably been used to create the track. The moment I spotted them I said to Wonka… ‘HDR candidates’.

    * Basically created 5 exposures of the same raw file (-2,-1,0,1,2) setting the Brightness to 0 in Adobe Camera RAW first as it defaults to 50 and can aid in blowing what was already a very bright sky

    * Put them through some HDR software – 100/100 on the Strength, about 40/100 on the Saturation – I wanted to make the colours flat looking – And then tweaked all the other settings to try and get the right look

    * Then into PS, tweaked the shadows and highlights using Curves and a Linear Contrast Curves adjustment

    * Desaturated the entire image, not completley, but drained the green from the grass and blue from the sky. Created a mask to retain the colour in the machinery

    * Some dodge & burn on the highlights and shadows

    * Unsharp Mask

    Hi John, Nice one, some excellent processing, just one thought, shouldn’t you have Arni Terminator looking out from behind one of these mean machines. Mike :lol:
