Easter Monday in Murlough

Kids were building sandcastles on the beach – so a few invaluable moments were freed up for making a few images.
Here’s one – C&C welcome!
Its a nice picture. Pleasing to the eye but I think its missing something to take it to the next level. The mountains in the background are a little dark and don’t really show much detail of the mountains. I think it might be the overall tone of the image that just makes it look a little lacklustre. Maybe some more contrasting colours between sky and sea would be better in this, the mono doesn’t really do it for me.
Compositionally nice but something missing for me
