Enthusiastic beginner loosing enthusiasm for posting

Here goes (thanks Big Fella and co) This is my second (really first correct – I hope) posting of a black-headed gul in Rosscarbery.

Hope its ok? Is it too big/too small etc? Is it even visable – Kieran

It’s visible, perfectly, and there’s nothing wrong with the size of it
either. Compositionally, I’d prefer the bird further to the left of frame
moving into it, and overall it’s a little soft. Some of the white on the
breast is possibly slightly overexposed and lacking detail, but this might
be recoverable if you’ve shot in RAW.
Oh and don’t lose enthusiasm. Keep posting, and more importantly,
    keep shooting.

Never lose the enthusiasm, as I have learned, there will always be somebody on here more than willing to help out :)
Would agree with Rob about the shot, sharpen it up a bit and try to tone down the highlights on the breast, other than that it’s a nice first pic post…..Mikka
