Enthusuastic beginners first swan (i’ll delete later)

    Here goes second posting. I know its only a test but I’ll delete it later when I’ve figured out how to delete the post.

    Work on having a little more empty space in front of the bird than behind. This suffers from being in the exact middle of the frame. Also, dont be afraid to tilt the camera a little, this looks a bit static.

    I’m guessing this was cropped from a bigger image – it’s hard to get the distant subjects without long lenses, but keep practicing!

    Thanks Merv. Yes the pic was cropped and I’ll pay more attention to that aspect in future and yes, I’ll keep shooting and hope to post some more shortly with a view to learning more from people on the forum.

    Good shot Kieran, I agree with the above posts. Keep shooting and keep posting and have fun doing it, that what its all about.
