Thanks again. Actually a bird flew over in shot #2 then he just gave up / out for shot #3. They are something to watch if you catch them awake!!

2 barbary lions have just been born in Belfast Zoo hoping to get up and see them,unfortunately won’t get as clear a shot as these. Fingers crossed though.

Carl, the Lions enclosure is pretty good for phtography from what I remember – if it isn’t all muddy. The cubs will probably be kept indoors for a little while before getting out to the great big cold outdoors.
I saw two little Barbary cubs [ born in Nov] in Belfast Zoo at Easter.
In the afternoon the area with the best light is behind bars, so morning is the time to be there.
