    Some changes:

Localized corrections — Enhance specific areas of an image for unsurpassed nondestructive flexibility and control reminiscent of the traditional darkroom dodge and burn experience.
Improved organizational tools — Find the images you need quickly and easily.
Multiple monitor support — Add an additional monitor to efficiently manage photographic workflow and presentation.
Flexible print package functionality — Create custom layouts containing multiple sizes of a photograph on a single page.
64-bit support — Lightroom 2.0 now takes advantage of the latest hardware architectures with improved memory handling and performance.

    Worth looking at, I’d say!

I have it running on my mac pro

the main thing i really like is the dual screen support

I use 2 24″ monitors and having the grid on one screen and the full image on the other really does rock

    I use 2 24″ monitors

    In the same room??

Do you reckon this could slowly take on the features of PS for minor improvements or still a support? I don’t see any improvements listed in the catalogue features but the list is quite vague so any thoughts? I don’t really want to download a beta that doesn’t support an existing catalogue but your first-hand thoughts would be useful Syteve.

the final version will support catalogue updating etc

i think they left that out as they dont want people to use it for the actual workflow.

I am not fussed on using the local adjustments etc, i use photoshop every day for my work so i feel more comfortable there.

I really use it for cataloging and putting sets together etc, rather than processing
