Greetings from a Beginner

Hello! I registered with the site ages ago but didn’t introduce myself.
I am now a SAHM to a beautiful 17month old girl and have decided to take photography more seriously. I love reportage style portraits etc and would love to pursue portrait and wedding photography seriously BUT I am not sure where to start.
I have been reading and playing with my 400D, taken a course but need more hands on training. My dh tells me I should find a photographer willing to take on an unpaid lackie so I can learn. I would love to!
I look forward to using the site and reading the posts!

Welcome to the site and you will learn a lot here by asking as many questions, (no matter how silly you think they are) and remember we ALL started somewhere in photography. Post a few photos get critiques and try not to get annoyed if they do not reflect what you seen in the photo you posted. Always remember of “You” like a photo ,for whatever reason, then thats the important thing. You might impress someone with your style of photography, no-one will know until you show some of your work.And most important of all HAVE FUN with it.
