:)BrickeeParticipantEvaParticipanthaha i know i think its cute too…!!
i have a feeling i will keep posting… im a little bit addicted already!! haha
nfl-fanParticipant#2 would be my pic, nice capture.
Eyes look a bit strange, have you processed them? I’d prefer to see more natural eyes.
EvaParticipanti havent touched the eyes!! there all natural! haha! they do look kind of crazy though!
fguihenParticipantnfl-fan, ive found imaging animals ( especially dogs) gives this effect. its basically the same idea as red eye in people, i.e. the light reflecting of the blood filled areas of the eye in people. in animals, im guessing they have a bigger retina, or something like that, or maby its they have a different lens at the front of the eye, but red-eye generally comes out green/grey. this is not all the time in animals though. anyone have a proper proven reason for why it happens id love to hear it.
fguihenParticipantfound this on this site:http://www.colorpilot.com/redeye_effect.html
“When you take photos of animals, the red eye effect can be quite different. Animals have a reflective layer in the back of their eyes behind the retina called the tapetum. This layer enhances their night vision. The colour of the tapetum gives you blue, green, yellow, or white eye effect. With animals, the effect can have place even when the ambient light is sufficient to prevent it in humans.”
-Oy-ParticipantNice subjects with bags of potential especially if you have a captive audience! You could develop a great series with this theme!
Colours seem a bit mooted though
Jay KingParticipantI like the first one :) The second one is good but the wall on the left takes away from it a bit…
If you had all of the left leg of the 3rd cow (which is cropped out a bit) you’d have a good continuous pattern there.
I’d say you’d lots of fun shots like this being around a farm :)
