First post in this section. Bought a manual Nikkor micro lens from
ebay last week. Manual focus and no metering, don’t have a light
meter so just going by how they look on the back of the camera.
Took these on Warrenpoint beach this afternoon, these wee thingys
are stuck to loads of the rocks. I think they look like weird tiny mountains.
Hi Sinead… well shiver me timbers! Nice collection of barnacles there! At least that’s what I think they are?!
I’m a bit colour blind so I can’t really see the blue in the first one… but the second looks good.
To be honest I don’t really know what a Micro lens is… is it the same as a Macro?! The Exif says F1 for the aperture… can it be changed on this lens? The first one could do with having a bit more in focus… as there’s lots to see – but on the second the dof is great, nice few fading out in the background.
shutterbug, I know, weird looking wee things so they are, cheers
for looking.
Jay King, colour blind, bummer!! Micro is the same as macro. It
says F1 because it is a really old lens, no cpu points so the camera
wont read or record aperture, think it might have been f4 and I think
I may have been slightly off on the focus as well. Ta for comments.
