Can anyone offer any advice on pricing for selling photos as prints please. I have my own website but am selling very few on it thought im getting a lot of hits. Hard to know what the right price is as if you sell to cheap you will sell none and if you sell too dear the same result

    thanks

I don’t think it’s the price that keeps away people from buying prints on your website. First of all, you don’t even get to know that those pictures are for sale until you accidentally find the ‘To order photos’ in the menu. Put it in red or separate it with space, better even, put a link under each photo to the ‘order’ page. If you don’t sell something, people won’t buy it. The other problem I found is that there are like five copies of the same image (Ducketts Grove for example), and they all look the same. Try wallking around and taking photos from different perspectives or use only one image from a series. By the time I would make up my mind on which one should I buy from the five, I lost interest.

The pricing is up to you, make it profitable, but not too expensive in my opinion.

    Hope I helped a bit,

Best Way I’ve seen is a paypal button underneath a BUY THIS PICTURE $25 bit of text.
