  I’ve had a look through the previous posts on the “Camera Clubs” forum and jaqian’s / Rob’s list of clubs so I already know the answer really,
  but as a long shot, does anyone know if there is a camera club in the Athlone area? The nearest I know of are Mullingar, Portloaise or Mountmellick but non of these are particularly close. I would be hoping for one a bit nearer…..

  I see you’re looking for a local camera club, well you might like to join us in Athlone on Tuesday evenings……

  Want to meet like-minded photo enthusiasts? Why not join a new amateur photography club in the South Roscommon/Athlone area?
  The Midlands Photography Club is currently meeting in the Hodson Bay Hotel, Athlone at 7p.m. on Tuesday evenings.
  Our next meeting is on July 1st.
  This new club is seeking more members. Absolute beginners and more experienced photography enthusiasts welcome.
