Now why didn’t I think of that!
For some reason I insisted in getting the mound he was jumping from in each shot but this, along with the non-sky saturated background does do it justice. How is/what colour is the head??

joe_elwayParticipantnfl-fanParticipantGreat shot… 400mm too… don’t remember you having that beast of a lens completley extended.
Just out of the shower… when the warm water hit my scalp boy was it hot… I got well burnt through the short hair. What a day! Nice to just sit and chat in it today.
Hope a few more PI members can make it up on May 18th… y’all listening out there!

Thanks! I shot this one around when you arrived. That location behind the race start location is usually an inadvisable place to be so this practice was the only time I’d shoot there. Otherwise, I was between 100 and 200mm all day.
Ah man! I’ve a headache setting in.
ExpresbroParticipantDo they not sell hats down Wexford way then lads? hehehe!!!
Nice shot Aidan..but sure you’re a seasoned pro at this Moto-x thing now. I know after the Gormanstown shoot that time I was still picking bits of muck out of my lenses a week later…
Brendan LennonParticipantPeteMcDMemberKiller. Pin sharp and good separation. The dust gives a little context. I like how the rider rests on the line between the sky and trees.
joe_elwayParticipantPeteMcDMemberThat’s a styleee whip in the second one. Great colours- yellow blue red. Can’t beat it. Pity his mudguard was faded- amateurs, eh?!
GfoxParticipantmgstParticipantmervifwdcParticipantSuper shots! And it helps when the riders do something a little different than a straight jump.
Nice work!
Merv.
