I don’t have all that many this year..the hybrids seems to be losing their strength..so I am even photographing the dead.Well.. just to re-iterate what I already said over at Flickr… vibrant, super colour and fantastic texture in the petals. Oh.. and nicely composed too!

This might look funky is you took another 3 different conversions of the same shot and then pieced them into a single 4 figure shot.

As far as comparing the conversions..will pm you for help :D Thanks again (in advance.)Jb7~~I didn’t use the flash for this one..though I did fire it for a few with very little difference in the effect. I was fairy happy with the result both ways.

Really like the textures and colours on this fantastic floral image. Flower photography is something I just cant ever seem to get a result I like, to be honest I just suck at floral pics lol..

vividimages~~thank you kindly for the comments. I love floral photography. I have been practicing a lot on flowers because I need to learn to use available light. I haven’t yet invested in lighting and so with the help of people on this site I learned how to make the most of what I have around the house and fixed on the camera. I am trying to learn to use cheap light better because I have found that once people who you know see you with a DSLR they think you can take great photos and everyone asks you to take photos for even the most precious events :lol: I have been asked by so many friends to take their family photos. I am learning a lot about portrait photography by practicing on flowers. I guess the biggest difference is that they don’t move (much)..they don’t promote their own ideas or stick out their tongues and they always wear attractive attire.
