if you had the option between these 2 lenses which one would you choose and why?any thoughts? is there a clear winner? both have had good reviews so unsure what’s the way forward here

for your info, i have gone for the 24mm. according to most reviews and test that i found online, they all came to the same conclusion that the 20mm was a great lens but only closed down to f8 or more. at 1.8, they said it was almost unusable. the 24mm scored highly all the way, and i have to say, so far so good. i got this in the US for 220 euros (which was even cheaper than the hong kong prices, here it was listing at 400 euros and more. just crazy!!!

Interesting to know. Did you buy it online and have it shipped or were you over in the US?

i had a friend who was coming over from the US pick it up for me. i cross-checked a few lenses between USA HK and europe, and with the exchange rate as they are at the moment, the US was cheaper for all of them. Obviously this does not include taxes, but for the one i bought, even if you added taxes it would still be a lot cheaper
