Gaucamole and Fresh Hot Tortilla Crisps

I firmly reject that this is some sort of cheap publicity stunt for my dog and I do truly believe that there are several (many?) user/members who would prefer the photo with my pup. :?
How does one find this artistic nude forum? I didn’t know we had one..but Buffy is three in human..so that makes her 21 in dog right?
So..maybe they all look awful and boring anyway..because I certainly am not getting many comments… :x
I gave you an honest critique… that #1 was my favourite… and justification for over the other 3.
I asked where the Sour Cream, Salsa and Jalapeno’s were which is in effect a critique too.
But to be honest… what food photos really boil down to is one thing and one thing only… do they wet your appetite. In this case the answer is Yes & No… personally I’m not a big fan of Gaucamole on it’s own and I want the Sour Cream, Salsa and Jalapeno’s.
I told you this food lark wasn’t easy.
I was just desperately trying to be funny-
There is definitely a touch of red herring in the sauce for the second though-
I can hardly look at the food with Buffy sitting in the middle of it-btw- I voted for 2

So you did ..both give me helpful critique and warn me that this is not easy. I threw this up here fast because well there’s something on TV tonight that I have to watch..so I am sorting a million things before the ribs go onto the barbecue outside.
I am sorry I forgot to ask…how would the sour cream…salsa and jalapenos look best..on the side? or dabbled on the crisps and avacado? What would you do..I was trying to keep it clean looking (well besides the dog) I tend to clutter stuff up.

It’d look best on a plate right in front on me here now… long time since I had ’em… you pay a lot for little in this country when it comes to this dish and the quality is often poor.
But on a serious note… sour cream and jalapenos on top… salsa to the side maybe in it’s own little serving bowl.
I can’t believe I’m having this conversation… cos eating ’em is all the really counts.
Well it matters a lot to me..so thanks for that…OK..maybe will get a chance to post an amended product..cheers John! :D

All your shots make me so hungry! At this minute, I have just shoved some garlic bread in to the oven! A far cry from your mouth-watering morsels but will have to make do for now! :lol:I’m glad you lifted the food away from the flowers,
think of the insects, slugs, etc, that could get into the salad. Yeuch.

Thanks for looking!Pixelle~~ :lol: I really hadn’t thought about the bugs in the flowers! It’s not every day I put the salad out in the middle of the ground cover. Just wanted a feeling for what people like. Trust me..I wouldn’t normally put the food on the ground and let the dog sneeze on it either..but Joseph was right..I was just trying to get the doggy into the food forum :oops:
