Not sure whether this belongs here or in the wild”life” section, if we had a wilddeath section then there’d be no such confusion :D
Spotted this sad scene on the way home.I know it could do with more and larger blossoms but if I had gone and pulled some off the nearest tree and sprinkled them around my neighbours might have gotten a bit worried and called the men in the white coats (no not GAA umpires). Also perhaps it is not sad for some people, rats of the sky and all jazz :) I for one quite like pigeons
The petals are essential here… and combine really well with the dead bird.
There is something both sad and interesting about this photo… but something peaceful too. I hope I don’t come off as some sort of demented sicko that gets a kick out of dead birds here!
i like this. I can almost hear a lone violin playing gently on a light breeze. it is beautiful. only thing i could say is that the dof ends just before the birds head, so although the bird is in focus, it feels cramped and as if it only just made it into the range focus, but thats only a minor thing. sure folks call them flying rats and all that, but i quite like pigeons. very intelligent birds. besides, I bet there are more people than pigeons in the world. you think they call us giant pink rats??
