Trespassers Prosecuted (but not this time)

  • Well I was ment to be working last night but when I landed in the boss had to many drivers, so i went out with the camera for a few landscape shots.
Its been 3/4 months but i needed some practice with the new 40D, so here is one of the shots for now i will post up more soon.

If you hadnt guessed from the title i went to ballintoy ;)

A very dramatic sky, and I really love the texture in the foreground with the water, rocks & seaweed.

Very powerful and striking image Ricky.

    Excellent composition too.

This is very good work. I’d be delighted to have snapped this myself. Best from you in a while.

Any post processing applied here that you would care to share? Don’t be shy.

Lovely shot, nice foreground to balance the sky. Sweet.

I like this one allot, wouldn’t change a thing. Possibly one of the best I have seem of Ballintoy in my opinion.

Just really like the mood and colours in the picture. The seaweed in the foreground works really well and the sky is just great…

I’m on the north coast (castlerock mainly) a fair bit, would anyone care to let me know where in relation to Ballintoy harbour this is and how to get to it?

    Thanks in advance,

    Andy

Thanks for all the comments :) i was rather pleased with this one to be honest but thought someone would find a fault !

From the main car park, there is a small house to your left if your looking out to sea and the shop is to your right. Walk past the house along the small path and you will come across a 6′ wire fence just walk around it and continue along the path of sorts. There is 2 fields & stiles to cross and eventually you will come to a stoney bay with the elephant rocks in plain sight. Basiclly you are walking towards the causeway.

    Hope this helps

    Ricky.

Pass this and your on the right track !
