Winter in the Cheviots

This was one of the images made near my home in The Cheviot Hills in Northumberland on a “spring” outing with a group of fellow photographers.
nfl-fanParticipantstcstcMemberTelecasterMemberHi Guys,
Many thanks for your guidance but I still don’t seem to be able to make the link although I’m following yours and Mark’s instructions that he PM’d me yesterday. I guess I’m just a computer illiterate :(nfl-fanParticipantJust in relation to the shot Les…
It’s very small and hard to see if there is any extra detail… it borders on a pencil sketch for me… I like the simplicity but it’s so minimal it would be easy for one to question whether it’s was ever a photo to begin with.

Many thanks again for your help.
This particular exposure was made during a white out which was the reason for making it as the distracting hills and trees behind this little grouping was obliterated. There is no further detail to see and the idea of a pencil like drawing was in my mind as I lined up the shot.
jb7ParticipantIt looks good to me-
This is one of the problems of posting on the internet;
all nuance is lost,
unless you’re prepared to post large,
and not many are-Having seen your prints,
I’d have to say that this would make a fine one-The only issue I might have would be with the tree cut by the frame on the left-
if there was a corresponding tree on the right, it might sit better-
or a slight shift in viewpoint might have allowed it to sit outside the frame completely-
leaving the main group the sole focus-Not suggesting you should get the bleach out-
just an opinion, as usual…j
