SOLD Canon EOS 1 D MkII and 70-200 IS F/2.8 SOLD

Both used twice, was shooting sport and needed the frame rate dont need the gear any more have Nikon gear for other photography.
Less than 2000 shutters on the camera which is not the “N”
Lens is as new and both are still in original boxes.Gathering dust needs a new home…

ConorWell I live in Wexford and no the gear is not stolen, just stumbled on this forum and decided to offer my stuff for sale, its been lying there for almost two years doing nothing.
Could post here for a few weeks and then offer the stuff for sale dont see the point, may not be strictly in the spirit of the forum, ok.
I obivously looked at the posting rules before I started the thread and it said nothing about profiles etc, the gear speaks for itself. Used to spend endless time on photography forums, dont have the time any more so if someone is interested pm me or post here and I will gladly answer your questions.Jimmy
as far as I am concerned, the price and the location are the main information, then maybe some pictures of the camera just to see the conditions.

Hi all, I’m a web developer/designer, php mysql that kinda stuff graphics, layout too, actually have built a site for a fellow member here saw the link from his site stats referrers list.
Camera and lens were used to shoot motor sports for a brief period until the mag closed that I used to shoot for. All my other gear is Nikon but the cheapest 8f/s camera body was Canon so was willing to switch then hated the images compared to my original Nikon images / functionallity (D70) shots I was used to so staying Nikon (just my opinion not flaming) people switch both ways and I dont need the speed anymore.Will post pics of both items as soon as I get a chance have a busy weekend tho.

Seeing as were without a guide price I’ll give you a €100 for the pair, just to get things going. How does that sound?
Guys, I think, it is fair for him to sell the equipment without stating the price in the ad, don’t be rude then! That is a nice piece of kit and I am sure, he just wants to get a good price.
There is also adverts.ie and buyandsell as well, Jimmy, just to increase your chances to sell.

Nobody is being rude. As people with cash in our arse pockets we should be allowed to ask for the guide price to be made public.
I could PM and ask for a price… and then post a thread here telling everyone. Now that would be rude.
I think it’s best practice to post a guide price along with the merchandise being sold.
