    Ahh!!! Summer!!!! Gotta love it!!!

My better half and I popped to Donabate so I could test my 10 stop ND filter.

Needless to say I did the testing pretty swiftly and then chilled in the sun.

How about an informal little tread where we upload our summer memories as they come? First real summer 2008 memory for myself would have to be below… :D

Cheers and HAPPY SUMMER folks!!!! Ivar :D

    Yowza she’s a stunner.

The reflector can be seen in her shades unfortunately. Also the shadow of her hair on her upper arm is a little annoying. Apart from that though everything looks… ahem… very very good. Good use of DOF in this shot.

I think that the dof is too shallow… there should be more detail in the background ;)

The top of her left arm is a bit blown, but I realize you would have needed an assistant standing there with a semi-transparent shade to create the ideal lighting. This is not a fashion shot, so her hair being a little bit torn here and there just makes her look relaxed, and I don’t have any problem with the shadows. Maybe her face could be a tad bit lighter, and all the clutter reflected in the sunglasses could be cleaned up…. otherwise it’s a great image.

    Happy summer indeed.
Nice picture, though I do feel the sunglasses slightly spoil it.
Nicely treated too Sexy and classy.

I really should be out enjoying the summer!
