How did your User Name come about, I know some are obvious i.e. Martin and I personally know the story behind others …irishwonkafan……….but would be interesting to hear how others came up with thiers??
Mine was used on a Chelsea forum and being too lazy to think up another I use it here…………it is made up of my favourite all time player Peter Osgood nicknamed Ossie and my lucky number
Cheers Steve
MarkKeymasterAlan RossiterParticipantI’ll explain mine for the benefit of others.
I do like the film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. To me it’s Christmas and the memories of childhood. But that doesn’t explain the name. I found a golden ticket for sale that was autographed by Mike TeeVee, one of the original children in the movie, the one that got “broken into a million pitheth” by Wonkavision and made miniature. His real name is Paris Themmen and he makes his money through various business ventures including cashing in on his fame.
Sooo, when I bought this I had to make up a user name for Ebay…Irishwonkafan. By the way, my wife is on here too, called Golden Ticket although it has been quite a while. So, I’ve got two golden tickets!!
Alan.
MartinParticipantI know some are obvious i.e. Martin
Not that obvious Steve  My name was supposed to be Mark but my dad got it wrong at my christening
PeteTheBlokeMemberJodyParticipantI got mine at birth too. My parents were too lazy to think of a potential girls AND boys name, so they just chose one that could suit both…which I heard all about when I was in primary school let me tell you!
cathaldParticipantFairly simple Cathal is my first name and the d is for Donnelly

I’ve heard that about you Fred.
sm323fMemberdont know why i decided to combine these two, but
sm = my initials and
323f = my first car-mazda 323f!PitmaticMemberMany moons ago I wanted to play a computer game online and you have to have a user name that had not been taken yet adn i had just listend to a radio program on Radio 4 which talked about a northern england mining dialect called Pitmatic http://www.pitmatic.co.uk .
I couldnt think of anything else and the tag has stuck I went on to modify the game and was developing my own title but the cast and time you have to sink into it could not be justified having kids etc.
This is the sort of thing i would do to EA’s Battlefield 1942 some people thought i wasnt taking it seriously…
sorry for the pimping but i was proud of it  :)
MeoParticipantMine was a nickname a friend used to call me many years ago in my teens, its kinda made up from my initials :-)
Marie.
constantineParticipantConstantine or Flavius Valerius Aurelius Constantinus commonly known as Constantine I, Constantine the Great was Roman Emperor from 306, and the undisputed holder of that office from 324 to his death
So, for me, it symbolises delusions of grandeur.
Also, I really liked the film ‘Constantine’
