Just a boat

Not sure where to deposit this one so I suppose “Everything Else” captures it. It’s just a boat!

Very good conversion too, nice and contrasty. Hard to tell at
this scale, but I reckon there’s plenty of nice texture there too
that would really pop out on a print. Simplistic, sparce and
beautifully executed….Rob.
Nice shot with potential
Think it needs more room all around though especially at the top. Find it a bit distracting that the top of the image is very bright. Don’t know if there is any detail you could burn in to balance it up a bit more

As said above, A bit bright on top. Still a lovely shot IMO, It’s pin sharp with loads of detail and the conversion is very well done.

Funny you should mention that. It’s something I’d been thinking of but maybe not just yet!
The top is a bit bright – I had to clean it up a bit what with reflections of clouds and a contrail. I’ve another version of this that works better but when I resize it the top becomes blotchy so I didn’t want to post it here as it’d distract from the boat. I’ll have a look at darkening it to see what happens.
And the image does have a lot of detail so this is one that I will definately be printing.
