Shot this a few weeks ago. Normally id be stalking or trying to catch birds where I can. This was a nice day so I sat myself on the bank in a good spot and sure enough along came one.
Beautiful reflection and ripples.
I like the fact that there is (almost) no sky in this image.
It gives is a very contained feel.
Togeter with the vibrant green and blues it looks almost like a hologram.However, the shot is maybe a little to much centre-weighted.
Try to place the bird’s head more to the top, bottom right or left… if that makes sense?Ya. It makes sense Hauke. Here is another one. There isnt much room for different crops. Now his body is more centred but as the head is more of a focal point it works better.
