    Hey Guys,

I only own a camera a few days and just said i’d get stuck in and get out there and start shooting!

I didnt really PS the pics at all at all, just cropped slightly is all really…

I need advice on what im doing wrong and how to get the pic right, or if its a bad shot to start off with and bin it! :D

So be brutally honest!!!! And tell me how to correct it too!!

Rubbish i know, but have to start somewhere!!

this is not a bad first post Sully, I like the way you have slowed the water and the exposure looks good.
I would rote this CW a bit though. overall well done.

    Brickee means rotate it clockwise
To rotate: Open the image and press CTRL+A to select all of it, next right click the image and on the menu that appears click free transfrom.
Now just go to a corner ofthe image and when a curved arrow appears hold left click and move mouse to rotate.
Easy…just remember to crop it afterwards to get rid of the empty space on the rotated edges ;)

    Very good for first post!
    Nice one

Its a good exposure overall. The details are in the foreground rocks and the greens in the background are exposed properly ( no bright spots)
You done very well, your level horizons (and not literally horizons) will benefit more with a good sturdy tripod. Good investment

    Thanks Evan for that… :)

How does this look to ye!?

    Thanks Mick

Ya a tripod is number one on my list… my hands wouldnt be the steadiest in the world… I’ll be getting one before my next adventure!!

    Much better.

Edit:After taking another look I have to agree with Zoltan(next post) this needs a touch more rotation.

Still not on level, it could take another 0.5 degrees clockwise ;)
