  I like this one but can’t quite say why. Nothing conflicts in the image, there’s no main attraction but has a lot to present in such a small place. It’s just a comfortable image to look at. The B&W is a finish I’d like to achieve but I default to darker, less defined presentations. But this works quite well.

  Thanks for the comment. What appealed to me about the scene was that I could picture it as a still from a 30s or 40s french movie.

  Also try a sepia tint to see if it adds a subtle dimension…

  I did use a sepia tint.
