Really Cool Idea!

Just wanted to share –
I read in one of the free Athlone newspapers about a photographer who got an idea from USA (where else..) that he has started here with great success.
(Maybe he is a member of this forum even – who knows?!)
Some really cool photos.It means getting another opportunity to wear your wedding dress!!

This has been a growing trend in the Stats over the last few years.
Not sure how the Irish Brides would go for it, but if you google “trash the dress” (the US term for this), you will see plenty
of absolutely stunning images. Has started to take off in Europe (see below) as well so likely to follow here.Will be following this with interest and also be checking with any willing brides who would be “up for it” (pardon the expression !!)

Yeah I have been googling it now for a while – some great ideas and stunning photos – I’d almost be tempted myself …If I could still fit in my dress :D

I`d love to wear my wedding dress again, Shame to spend so much money only to wear it once.
Great photos on that site….My sister is coming over to visit in October – I was thinking maybe it would be fun to find her a second hand dress in a charity shop just to try out some of those ideas :D
Hello All..I am the galway photographer who sparked at least this thread of dicussion on photos of the wedding dress or “Express The Dress” photos.
