Spillia, Spartahori-
in Greece-Lefkas in the distance, Skorpios just outside the bay-
One of my favourite places in Greece-
that’s Gerry and the electrician keeping the shore power going-j
lousyParticipantI like this one Joseph. The street lights and the light at the two chappies grab my attention and then I wander.
Plenty of interest there
Patjb7ParticipantMartinParticipantNice scene J
Would do a print to see what the lights look like in it
Lights on top of posts possibly a bit too bright
Would tone them down a small bit using a mask and a second exposure from the raw
Nice one

RobMemberVery quaint looking, picturesque. Seems to have good
detail throughout the range, though impossible really to
judge properly at this scale. Lots of interesting ropes and
rails on the left, a busyness that contrasts nicely with the
simple single boat on the right…The lamps are peculiar though, as Martin mentioned, and not
just in brightness; the colour of that glow looks a little odd too,
or else my eyes are a little odd…Rob.
nfl-fanParticipantQuestion: The Exif reads 3″ exposure… but no blur in the two gents… how so?
T’is a nice scene… but looks like it has more potential without the two gents working… and more of the landscape.
jb7ParticipantThanks for the comments everyone-
I was taking this one when the two boys arrived-
so I didn’t have to move far-
I like the figures- I don’t think I took any without-
in fact, the figures make it for me-
though I take your point, there’s always a different shot that could be taken-The camera was on the tripod,
so after I framed, I triggered the camera by remote.
I got one shot where they were both reasonably still-Will definitely print,
so it’ll change yet again-Flourescent lamps Rob,
saving the planet-
The colour is pushed all over the place-Thanks again for the comments-
here’s one more-j
lousyParticipantThat second shot with the reflections is great.
I’d say you’re happy with that one yourself??? maybe not.
The third one…no great interest for me.Pat
jb7ParticipantCheers Pat-
Although I set out to take that shot with the reflections,
and it worked out as I expected,
I’m far more pleased with the first shot I posted here-
it’s a much more complex picture, I think-The last shot was taken pre dawn, next morning-
it certainly loses something in the reduction,
but apart from the fisherman having a scratch,
there’s not a lot going on-Though that’s about all that was going on that morning…
