I’ve been doing nightclub photography for a wee while now, but can always improve as i still find some of my shots with touch n go lighting etc, use an sony alpha, aperture i mess around with usually around f4, f5 and an iso of 400 get touch n go results n wud switch between that and auto, whichever is needed, as i need to go for bigger numbers of fotos rather than quality with the company i work for, shoot jpeg fine but occasionally raw images. Last three are more messing with the shutter speed and lighting
im still relatively amateurish with my camera n know i cud get better results so any tips would be appreciated
no answers? try getting a ‘nifty fifty’ its a 50mm f1.8 less than €100 and are usually the cheapest lens you can buy. the F1.8 means that it is fast ie good in low light. if the alpha 50mm is expensive and you are going to spend the money anyway I would look at getting something less than 50mm as sometimes it can be quiet look at third party lenses from sigma or tamron as these will be cheaper.
for low light conditions I always shoot raw as you can do more in the way of brightening a raw file
