These are a couple of photos from the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry (not sure in the first one is a landscape). If you want to see the full size photos you can just click on them to enlarge them.

Please let me know what you think and how I can make some improvements.

Also, if you have any general landscape advice please let me know (I’ve set up this thread in the beginner forums if you want to post advice in there rather than here).

    Thanks.

    Hey J

I think both of these have photos in them .. but you haven’t seen them!

I’ve taken a quick peek to see if I can illustrate what I see here

for this one i straigtened your horison – removed the vert bright cloud in the sky and cropped into the image on the one third ratio

I felt you were including too much in the image – and what was most interesting for me was the greenery and the wall .. so I cropped it square .. I’m not sue if the composition works but I hope it helps

    Hi Jamie,

I like photo 2!. the clarity is fantastic and the colours are really vibrant.
Ehat Logill did to it really improves it.

the interest is on the land and too much sky takes away from it in this case.

Nice one and welcome to the forum.

Photo 2 does it for me.
The effect of the cloud shadows on the landscape are beautiful.
The first one seems a little lacklustre. The misty background does’ent help.
It would be better shot when sun is lower in sky to give a few shadows.
