Its a grey seal.
Fantastic close up shots. where were they taken? What were the settings and equipment used?

it was taken with a d50 out in bullock harbour in dalkey with a D50 70-300 (300 when taken)

I thought the ones in my image were grey seals, as they were, well.. grey, but they look very different from the seals in your images. wonderful images by the way.

i think ur guys are common seals? i think that grey seals have a more dog like head.

Harder to tell with yours but i think they may be greay seals too but as I said its hard to tell. Greys have elonggated mouths/noses like a dogs. Common/harbour seals have a ‘flatter’ face rather like a humans.
