god, i’m almost tempted to buy one just to see!
out of interest, i’ve heard of “fake” lenses. what does that mean?
I presume it means that it bears the logo (in this case sigma) but is not officially made by them.
sometimes very hard to prove.
but your talking €80 – €90 for a telephoto lens made by a recognized makerof lenses.

although if you check their seller feedback, about 12 down, the same item was sold and positive feedback was left.hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Had one for a while, think I paid about double that in a Irish high street shop.
To be honest, its only worth 90 quid.
I have the APO version of this and love it… but from what I read there is quite a difference between the non-APO and the APO one. I paid £75 for mine (used), so £70 for a starter still seems good value, but personally I would pay for a used APO version (again only IMO and from reading around….I’ve never used the non-APO one).
I too have the APO version, and that price sounds about right for the non APO if it was shipped in from the likes of Hong Kong
