Was at a gig on Friday night, took a few pics of a friends band called Droppin Bombs.
Here are some of the results C&C welcome.
ben4130Participantjust realised the photos are a bit large …. sorry about that, but im too tired to resize and re upload right now
Punk RockMemberWhat have you done to poor Roe’s head in the last one!
Was this some special lense?
#3 is my favourite.ben4130ParticipantYeah it was shot at 14mm on a full frame sensor.
Take it off the parallel and it does some weird things.
Ro has never looked so tall in his lifePunk RockMemberhahahahaha
lol that made me laff!
You do like your creative experimenting I notice when it comes to photography.
was#3 the 14mm?eshortieParticipantNo. 2 & 3 are my faves, the black and white works really well,
The way the bass bends towards the edge in No.1 looks cool, but the shadow on the wall is distracting.Good set
ben4130ParticipantCheers eshortie
Yeah Janner it was shot with the 14 – 24, but it was shot at around 24mm so there is less distortion on itsowismMemberpretty nice pic, the black and white thing is awesome, anyways I saw this band a few weeks ago and they’re playing very cool music, by the way, do you know something about the photography rules of the big gigs? I’m planning to check the staind next week at the academy, can I take my big machine with me?
ben4130ParticipantDepending on the night it can be tricky, some places dnt like you using SLR cameras at their gigs, but if you can contact the management first they may allow you. however you could always sneak it in.
sowismMemberwill you check out the chewing on tinfoil(sometimes they’re playing together with droppin bombs) in the next month in dubin?
ben4130ParticipantIve seen those guys before years ago, i dont actually live in dublin anymore, i live in leeds now so I dont really get to go to many gigs in dublin
