A portrait of Aidan Walsh …. Im sure you all know who he is. Hoping to get some more tomorrow.
I took a few in april using both a Bronica sqa and Fuji 800 film or a D3
this was taken with the d3 as far as i can remember.
Any c&c would be appreciated, it was a fairly candid photograph.
Just saw this now… don’t know how I missed it earlier. He’s madder looking than his records sound…;-)
I bet he’s a hoot to photograph?
The immediate thing that I’d say is that it’s a pity his eyes are shaded by the cap..and the bright section of the shutter is a little distracting.
I like the processing though..adds to the overall sense of eccentricity.
Love to see some more of these when you have them.
Has he got as new CD coming out btw?

8)Yeah i was a bit disappointing with the eyes myself, i dodged them a little in PS but i didn’t want to go over the top. I would say you would be hard pushed to get him to remove that cap anyway. I never got to photograph him last time i was back in Dublin, but im going to contact him and see if i can get some more next time im around.
I dont know if he has a new cd coming out. I think at the moment he is trying to get the rights to the DVD so he can use it online.Cheers for the coments
