Pere Charles & Maggie B Salvaged in Arklow

  Took these today in Arklow, where the salvaged remains of the
  Pere Charles and the Maggie B are on the dockside after being
  salvaged some months ago to determine the cause of the sinkings.
  There is some arguement they should be removed from general view,
  because they would be regarded as graves if they had been left in situ.
  Personally, very strange seeing the Pere, as I was on passage April 12 months ago
  in a Rib Flotilla and as a group laid wreaths over the wrecks of the Honeydew (which broke up)
  and the Pere Charles

  Image 4 for me Jon. This shot clearly depicts the power of mother nature and the decay that has been encountered by a vessel as large as this from the power of the sea over time.. A sad event but you have captured the mood and detail very well here.
