Took these today in Arklow, where the salvaged remains of the
Pere Charles and the Maggie B are on the dockside after being
salvaged some months ago to determine the cause of the sinkings.
There is some arguement they should be removed from general view,
because they would be regarded as graves if they had been left in situ.
Personally, very strange seeing the Pere, as I was on passage April 12 months ago
in a Rib Flotilla and as a group laid wreaths over the wrecks of the Honeydew (which broke up)
and the Pere Charles
